| I LEAVE FOR HOME TOMMORROW AFTERNOON! A 4 - 4.5 hour drive isn't very
fun though. Yeah, it was fun being up here in College Station, but I am
really going to enjoy being at home for a week before I move in
permanently and go to Fish Camp (Gig 'Em week is gonna be flippn' sweet
though). Somebody freakn' call me cause I don't wanna sit around at
home all week! I wanna go SURFING! Peace for now..... ~Travis

| Hey guys,
For those who don't know, I'm at Texas A&M in College Station
taking some classes right now. I'm taking Physics 218 (coolest class by
far), Engineering 111 (most confusing class), Calculus 151 (easy and
boring at 8 AM = sleep time), Learning Management (oh gosh I hate that
class), and Resources (its aight). I've been at this for a week so far,
and I've got the rest of this week still to come. I'll be back home on
Friday, August 12 somewhere around 6ish. So far, I love college life,
except for all the homework. It's not really hard, it's just the fact
that there's a lot of it.We've been assigned homework as if school was
actually in session to prepare us for what college work will be like. I
will admit it is a lot more challenging than high school work, but
still, it's not insanely hard.....but then again, real school hasn't
started yet. I haven't been homesick at all, so I think I'll be fine
when school actually starts. This weekend was really cool. On friday
after classes we went bowling at the MSC for free. I ended up bowling
until my arm couldn't pick up the ball anymore. On Saturday, we woke up
and went to The Rec and did whatever the heck we wanted. I played ping
pong for 45 min. and then played racquetball for another hour after
that. We ate burgers at The Rec and then came back to the Commons and
showered and went to the movies . Once again, all expenses paid for by
the University. Flippn' sweet. I went and saw Dukes of Hazzard, which
was really funny. We went off campus to Tinseltown for the movies by
the way. Sunday I got up and went to Grace Bible church with whoever
else wanted to go. The University provided transportation. After Church
we went to the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and looked
around. That was pretty cool. After the library, we went to The Arctic
Wolf Ice Center and went ice skating. I haven't done that in forever,
but I didn't fall once. Go me. And today, it was back to business as
usual. I'm typing this in study session because I've already finished
all my work and I'm reallllllllllly bored. Feel free to call me or IM
me to find out anything else (after 9 PM only). Peace ~ Travis
